Exciting Fintech company creating the most current technologies seeks an SAS Solution Architect for AML/Fraud.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAS Solution Architect to join our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Fraud Platform team. The SAS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing and enhancing SAS-based solutions to detect, prevent, and mitigate money laundering and fraud activities within the bank. This critical role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, and leveraging SAS technologies to build robust and efficient systems that comply with regulatory standards.
 
Roles and Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Lead the design and development of SAS-based solutions for AML and fraud detection and prevention systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs.

• SAS Technology Expertise: Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in SAS technologies, such as SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Anti-Money Laundering, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Data and ML tools, and other relevant tools. Stay updated with the latest SAS advancements and ensure the bank leverages these technologies effectively.
• System Integration: Integrate SAS solutions with existing bank systems, data sources, and third-party applications. Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between various components of the AML and Anti-Fraud systems.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize SAS solutions to achieve optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure efficient and real-time detection of fraudulent activities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the AML and Anti-Fraud systems are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Keep abreast of changes in regulations and proactively implement necessary adjustments.
• Testing and Validation: Develop testing plans and participate in the validation and testing of SAS solutions to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in detecting and preventing money laundering and fraud incidents.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for SAS solutions, including design documents, architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and user manuals.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation and deployment of SAS-based solutions.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to junior team members, end-users and stakeholders on the functionality and proper usage of SAS solutions for AML and Anti-Fraud systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in AML and fraud detection. Continuously assess and enhance the SAS architecture to ensure it remains cutting-edge and effective in addressing emerging threats.

 
Required Skills

• Preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology Management or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a SAS Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on AML and Anti-Fraud systems in the banking or financial services industry.
• Advanced-level SAS programming skills and extensive hands-on experience with SAS technologies, including SAS 9.4 and SAS VIYA 3.4+.
• Strong understanding of AML and fraud detection principles, techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in system integration, data flow (SAS Data Integration), and RestAPI integration with third-party applications.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications in SAS technologies and AML/fraud detection are a plus.
• Native level in both Hebrew and English
