Junior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
The DevOps Associate will work with development, operations, and other technology stakeholders to automate the entire application delivery process including continuous integration and delivery. This role requires a passion for automating manual tasks across technologies including Microsoft Windows .net Core/C# and Linux. The successful candidate will be excited to learn hands-on DevOps principles and practices with the goal of creating a completely automated continuous delivery pipeline that will implement container-based strategies including docker and Kubernetes. This role requires hands-on technical skills and a passion for software quality, process and a willingness to help implement IT controls required in the banking industry.
 This is a remote/work from home position in Israel. 
Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in computer science OR 3 years hands on coding experience
• Two years hands-on experience with automation of application deployments and configuration management
• Two years hands-on experience with Powershell
• Two years hands-on experience with Software development experience in C# or Java
• Two years hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g. Github, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps (VSTS or TFS) or similar version control system 
• Fluent English
• Conversational Hebrew
• Ability to work some US hours

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of environment and performance monitoring.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
• Knowledge of Docker Knowledge Kubernetes
• NewRelic, Appdynamics or similar technology
• Linux or Unix
• Knowledge of database (e.g. mysql, SQL Server)
• Systems administration on Windows and Linux would be an advantage
• Experience with deploying applications.
